I was given the brief with the text needed, a style the client liked, some key elements such as the train breaking through the screen and the poster artwork to use as inspiration.
I then took this away, got hold of stock footage and elements such as the ink drop effect and composited it all to create this piece. The client and I then worked back and fourth to progress it adding extra, cinematic elements to bring atmosphere to the piece such as the snow at the end.
Original Reference
As this was an intense visual effects build, I created a reference video with stock footage so that I could minimise trial and error within After Effects.
This kept my workflow fast and efficient so we had plenty of time to progress and expand the video in the one we finished with above.
