Get yourself one of these! A LABEL MAKER is a very useful tool for keeping your kit and storage organised so you can find everything easily.

For this Hack, I use this to label all my cards with UNIQUE NUMBERS.

When I first arrived on my first set, I was handed a whole heap of cards with no clue of what card was from which camera, what order they were filmed in or, what day.

Grabbing a sharpie, I LABELED EVERY CARD and added the unique number to the folder I was ingesting that card to. This allowed me to be able to always go back to that exact card again if the ingest corrupted or, if I needed to find that particular footage again.

Now, I use a LABEL MAKER to print out the numbers as a sharpie has a tendency to wear off quite quickly.
