Cakebread's 60 Second Cinema || Episode 02

I am very fortunate to be surrounded by fellow talented creatives. One of whom is my long time childhood friend Wayne. Wayne now lives in Australia and captures incredible drone footage out there. Recently, he's started the transition into filming and photographing full time with flying as a certified drone pilot as one of his USP's.
While he's been over visiting the UK, we've taken every chance we can to get out filming together and experimenting with a variety of different shots and styles. So, it was only fitting we filmed a 60 Second Cinema together focusing on his drone piloting.
We used a blend of his drone footage with some shots we captured on a couple of these excursions. We both love how backlighting the subject in golden hour looks so our main scene was filmed in the woods during that time and we were able to get some lovely hints of sun flowing around the close up shots.
In the edit, I then experimented with a couple new techniques including the focus shift and RGB split effect at the beginning and for the close up of his eye.
