For batteries that don’t have indicators on the side to show how much charge they have, it can be a nightmare knowing which has charge and which doesn’t.


A quick fix, get labelling them on the

top and bottom with a RED OR GREEN LABEL!

I then put these labelled batteries into pouches like this one with the green facing the top if they’re charged and red if they’re used up.


This has worked brilliantly for when I’m racing around on an important shoot.

I can attach this pouch to my belt and when the camera runs out of charge, I know exactly which battery I can swap it out with.


Without this, I may miss an important moment having to try various batteries until one has charge.
